5 Motives Item Upgrade Is A Good Thing
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied. For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for another similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted will not be refunded. Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat. Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health. Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To make them, you'll need a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This helps you save upgrades. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money. During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool. Growthstones Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts. To upgrade their gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the “level up” button. The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone. After deciding on the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes. The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in battle without straining their accounts. By clicking on the “transfer tab”, players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear. For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones. Leveling Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level. Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be added, as well as an appropriate amount for the equipment. The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process. A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will increase by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19. When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for the track will be offered at discounted prices. Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade. Requirements Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium and the number of Upgrade Tokens. The upgrade item s can be incorporated into equipment sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item, it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions. Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats. For instance, the helm upgrade “Foundation of the Sun” improves base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade “Wildfire” increases weapon damage. Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version. When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the required requirements. These include the item type (either weapon or armor) the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade. Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
